Joe Fresh Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Joe Fresh is a fashion brand and retail chain created by designer Joe Mimran for Canadian food distributor Loblaw Companies Limited. The label includes adult and children's wear, shoes, handbags, jewellery, beauty products, and bath items. Joe Fresh is available at over 300 Canadian supermarkets and superstores, in addition to standalone locations.

An angry customer called out the scoundrels, "From bad to worse. Just when you think it can't get any worse, it does. Trying to purchase something at Joe Fresh is like trying to win the lottery. Cheap is not much good if you can't get your hands on the product. They won't bring in your size if they out, on line they won't ship to any address except the address on your credit card, so much for sending a gift to a friend, and they have a ridiculous contract with Canada post which is the only service I know that is worse than Joe Fresh. So no luck with Joe Fresh. So unless they have your size in stock, you are likely not going to get it, so why bother even dropping into their store. I went online to a company called Wish and found the same coat 50% cheaper and that was the regular price 50% cheaper than Joe fresh and they will deliver anywhere. I will never walk into another Joe Fresh again. Thanks Trudeau for giving this group of companies 12 million in tax dollars for green upgrades. Clearly you are all sleeping together."

General Manager says

"No corporate organization, hostile environment, no company support, aggressive corporate visits, managers have to do a lot of associate work, no company consistency, the company does not value its people, colleagues were fired with no given reason"

"lack of leadership, market the business all wrong"

Current Employee - Designer says

"Although this company got rid of most of the dysfunctional upper management in design and product development, they brought on more dysfunctional people to replace them. They expect you to perform miracles with no support. Its a revolving door in design. I so wanted to like this company, but there truly are people in high positions who don't know what the hell they are doing. Everyone is stretched too thinly but asked to walk on water while they are spoken down to like kids from some VPs."

Product Developer says

"Upper management is completely detached from reality. When I was working there there were tons of people who had been conned into freelance roles with the promise of a full time job - but the contract will never appear -make sure you sign paperwork with HR before working here."

Current Employee - Visual Associate says

"The cons are so many that they would fill up an entire law library."

"This job was boring. I was so bored the whole time I was working here. Everything feels like a chore. Managment sucked. also my boss was not a nice person. When I get home after a day of folding clothes, I didn't want to fold my own laundry. If you worked for them as apart of Loblaws company, the loblaw management was not nice about how they handle problems.managment, staff, hours"

SALES ASSOCIATE (Former Employee) says

"my sales associates were lovely, however the managers were very harsh and unnecessarily high strung for a retail job. Their tone was rude and employees were not allowed to talk with each other even when there was no customers around. Created a very hostile and unpleasant work environment. would not recommend working here unless you enjoy forced silence and endless criticism on your work performance. I requested 10 hours per week and they gave me 25-30, and as a full time student, this was unfeasible, but they did not care because they were understaffed and made it everyone else's problem, rather than hiring more people."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"I actually liked working here at first, then a new manager came in and ruined the working environment. I'm sure many of us have experienced it before, but I guess everything happens for a reason. I quit and the store closed down a month later."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"The work is no doubt stress-free and clean. But the management team I worked with were not appreciating or motivating. Great company to work for but I didn't like the management at the store I worked."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"Started out as a great place to work. Then a change in management occurred and everything went downhill. The store did not make enough money and the employees were affected. Sometimes there was not even a minimum 5 hr shift given weekly.friendly co-workers, flexible schedulingpoor management, not enough hours given, dress code"

Sales Representative (Former Employee) says

"Joe Fresh is a company which it's team respects each other, I was very proud to be part of that team. I gained many different types of skills from. Management are very straight and top of their company they know what they need to do in order to make this company a great work place environment for other co-workers. At times, the hardest part of the job was managerial duties this can sometimes be over whelming as managers have big responsibilities.Decent lunch hoursLong work hours"

Sales Associate/Stock Associate, Clothing Store (Former Employee) says

"The job was low paying and stressful. They did not offer benefits unless you were a manager and if you were there was no time for a personal life. Shortly after leaving this company, they closed down due to poor sales.Clothing discountno benefits, lack of hours, poor management"

Visual Assistant (Current Employee) says

"low paying started job but gives you some skills needed like creative control in the specific department you are in, able to become a leader and work independently on numerous projects. a typical day at work includes clocking in checking in with the manager for your tasks for the day. management is there for any questions you may have. co workers are fun and youthful to be around, hardest part of the job is coming in at 6am- also not getting any hours sucks to.good starting hours workable around your life and other activities school chldshortbreaks, healthcare, hours"

Assistant Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"All around a very unorganized place to work, constant upper and lower management changes to be made, no consistency, poor production and management. Rarely felt appreciated and valued. I noticed I dealt with stress much better than any manager and was attentive to my staff and always reliable, I handled every situation thrown at me fairly and efficiently. I always proved to have excellent drive and enthusiasm on the job, never a dull moment. The fantastic customers always kept me going.customersmanagement"

Associate (Former Employee) says

"Broken Printers, poor management and communication, no room for advancement. No one on my team would ever say anything ever and treated me like an idiot for not knowing things in an entry-level job."

Sales and Customer Service (Former Employee) says

"There was an enormous disconnect between the store personnel and management. The CEO never spoke to anyone on the retail floor. Management tended to snub store personnel, and constantly change policies. The retail staff was terrific, if a little green - but everyone looked out for one another. There was no possibility for advancement. You may be asked to work extra hours after the store closed without warning.Great discounts, some days flew by when we were busyWhen the store was slow, they would send staff home, leaving the store vulnerable for after 6:00pm rush, surprise added hours at the end of the day without notice, no benefits"

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"In charge of sales floors and fitting rooms, cashier work with other sales as a team member I learn how a store runs in the Retail Industry by folding and fixing cloths and assisting customers with questions or concerns they need to ask menoneshort breaks, dirty floors"

Cash Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"This was my first job into clothing retail. I've been in retail for over a decade. The management is uncaring and often times inappropriate. I was not able to stretch my operational muscles due to the over controlling behaviour of the store manager. The best part was the co-workers. The friendships that grew from that were priceless."

Clerk (Current Employee) says

"Great place to work as a student. Not recomentned if you need a lot of hours. But the culture could get a a bit of improvement. I like the chill and layer back vibe.Free clothes every season.Downtimes can be unbearable if you like being busy."
